Rihanna

MTV VMA’s are right around the corner (Sept 9 at 9pm). Its always a blow out and something insane usually happens so we will have to wait and see. For now though, I've got some behind-the-scenes action of the David LaChapelle photo shoots done with a few of the big names coming to the awards including Kanye West, Rihanna, Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy and Chris Brown.

Celebrity News: Rihanna's 'hot' Hartnett

Rihanna has completely "fallen for hot" Josh Hartnett.

The 'Umbrella' singer - who was spotted "kissing and cuddling" Josh in a New York nightclub last month - has confirmed the pair are dating.

Speaking at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo, Rihanna said: "I would be lying if I told you we were not more than just friends. I have so fallen for him, he is lovely.

"He is so hot and he is really sweet to me. When we hang out it feels right - even though it's still pretty new."

The pair first sparked romance rumours four weeks ago when they seen intimately enjoying each other's company as they shared a table and drank Dom Perignon champagne at New York nightspot Pink Elephant.

Josh reportedly decided to make his move on the 19-year-old R'n'B beauty after watching her perform in her racy stage outfits at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square the night before.

The 29-year-old actor refused to deny rumours he was romancing Rihanna and dodged questions about the couple's steamy nightclub embrace during a subsequent TV interview.

When asked if he had been kissing Rihanna, Josh stuttered: "Whoa, whoa, whoa! No, no, no. Come on you guys! This is, uh, we weren't supposed to talk about these things were we?"

Josh has previously been linked to 'Black Dahlia' co-star Scarlett Johansson and supermodel Helena Christensen.

Rihanna was recently said to be dating 'Transformers' star Shia LaBeouf.

Rihanna was involved in a car crash hours after claiming gold at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night (10Feb08).

The sexy star, who claimed a gong for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, was driving away from a Def Jam after-show party when her vehicle was hit by another car.

According to the Umbrella singer's aides, Rihanna and her driver were not injured in the minor collision.

Rihanna: Belle of 2012 BET Awards

When it comes to awards shows, the red carpet fashion is almost as important as who actually wins the awards. And Rihanna brought her fashion A-game to the 2012 BET Awards last night.

The Good Girl Gone Bad arrived on the pre-show red carpet looking amazing in a floor-length cleavage-baring yellow multi-tiered gown.

Turning heads everywhere she walked, the “Umbrella” singer was more than happy to indulge the clamoring paparazzi with a few hot poses before making her way inside the Shrine Auditorium.

Once inside, Rihanna changed into a fashion-forward black stage ensemble before delivering a remarkable performance, a highlight of the entire night.

Rihanna Rocks Essence Festival Stage

Opting to work on Independence Day, Rihanna took the stage to perform at the Louisiana Superdome during the 2012 Essence Music Festival on Friday (July 4).

The New Orleans based festival, which kicked off yesterday and runs until Sunday, "celebrates black music and culture and moved to Houston in 2011 after Hurricane Katrina smashed New Orleans. It returned in 2011, and organizers say Essence is now re-establishing its place in the city."

According to AP reports, "an estimated 200,000 people attended the festival last year, supplying a needed injection of business into the city's hurricane-hammered tourism industry."

"The festival is so special to New Orleans," said Irma Thomas, a resident who's still struggling to rebuild her home from Katrina-related damages.

Meanwhile, the festival will be honoring Patti LaBelle tonight - as the soul diva will enjoy "performances by two original members of LaBelle — Sarah Dash and Nona Hendryx — as well as performances by Chaka Khan, Angie Stone, Ledisi, Chrisette Michele, Ruby Amanfu and Thomas."
