So Jennifer Lopez’s Madison Square Garden show came and went – without so much as an official announcement from the latino diva that she is with child.

On Friday Page Six quoted an (ill-informed as it turned out) insider as saying that J.Lo planned to confirm she is expecting her first child during Saturday's NYC performance.

Perezhilton.com is now reporting rumblings that producers at the Late Show With David Letterman are trying to persuade the singer to announce her pregnancy on Tuesday night’s show.

Or maybe she will follow Christina Aguilera's lead and announce the news once the baby (or babies - it's rumoured she's expecting twins) are born.

Jennifer Lopez didn’t perform at last night’s Movies Rock show, but she didn’t have to. She wowed the crowd at the Kodak Theater by simply walking onstage.

Lopez originally planned to perform, but as I first reported last week she decided only to present, and she spent most of the two-hour show sitting in a seat not far from the stage.

Jennifer Lopez's birth ban

Jennifer Lopez has told hospital staff not to enter the room where she will give birth.

The 'Do It Well' singer is set to give birth to twins, her first children with husband Marc Anthony, later this month, and has asked staff at Long Island's North Shore Medical Center not to use the room until she arrives.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "There is a room, which even has a brown leather couch, that has been sitting empty for two weeks now. No-one is even allowed in there until she gets here. It's just sitting there for her."

The hospital has reportedly prepared an entire suite for the 38-year-old star, complete with wooden flooring and a giant TV.

It was recently revealed the hospital has been put on kidnap alert.

Staff have been undertaking specialist 'Code Pink' drills to ensure they are prepared in case anyone attempts to snatch Jennifer's babies.

A friend of the 'Monster-In-Law' star said: "Jennifer has spoken so much about how excited she is about the birth that anyone who is considering a kidnapping knows how far she would be willing to go to get her babies back."

The Latino star - who recently gave birth to twins Max and Emme, her first children with husband Marc Anthony - enjoyed the connection she felt with her children while they were inside her.

She said: "I miss feeling them inside me. It's funny, when their little umbilical cords fell off I cried. That was the last attachment we had where it was just us."

Jennifer, 38, also insists she has never experienced love like the love she feels for her son and daughter.

She added in a magazine interview: "It's not until you experience it yourself that you can put it into your own words. Your heart is connected to them. It feels like there's a string from my chest to theirs."

Earlier this week, Jennifer vowed to ease up on her work commitments because motherhood is the biggest priority in her life now.

She said: "I've been very career-orientated my whole life, but all of a sudden it's been like, whoosh! I want to do everything for them."

J.Lo performs at elementary school graduation

NEW YORK: Students at a Staten Island, New York, elementary school for autistic children sure like the way Jennifer Lopez moves.

Teacher Kathy Amati and a paraprofessional showed the video for Lopez's "Let's Get Loud" to the students at P.S. 37. The children liked it so much, they wanted to watch it every day.

They learned the lyrics and the dance moves from the video.

With their teacher's encouragement, they wrote to Lopez, hoping for pictures or an autograph. Instead, she asked to come to their graduation.

On Tuesday, the singer-actress performed "Let's Get Loud" for a group of eight 10- and 11-year-olds at their graduation ceremony.

Flight attendant sues Jennifer Lopez over dog bite

A flight attendant for a private jet company is suing Jennifer Lopez for $5 million.

Lisa Wilson, 40, filed a lawsuit against Lopez on Thursday, claiming the singer’s German Shepherd bit her two years ago and left her unable to work.

Wilson was working a flight from Long Island to Burbank in 2011 when Lopez’s dog, Floyd – described in the flight manifest as “a well-behaved guard dog” – bit her on the leg, the New York Daily News reports.

Wilson says she “twisted and fell” while trying to get away, the paper reports, and injured her lower back in the process. She claims back surgery she underwent last year has left her unable to work.

J. Lo, Wilson contends, “is absolutely liable for all injuries.”

A call to Lopez’ rep was not immediately returned.

She’s been living it up in Spain while her hubby Marc Anthony tended to his concerts, and now Jennifer Lopez is checking out what Italy has to offer.

The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” songstress was spotted supporting Anthony at a press conference in Milan, Italy at the Palazzo Marino earlier today.

And as always, J. Lo looked stunning in a wispy mustard yellow dress teamed with a pair of strappy brown heels and a Birkin handbag by Hermes. Unfortunately it seems that her undergarments slipped through in a few shots. Whoops!

The press conference was in honor of Marc, with the Milan Town Council bestowing on him the Honorary Award. Also in the audience was famed designer Stefano Gabbana from the Dolce & Gabbana label.

After finishing up with a string of South American and European performances with a show in Rome on Wednesday, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have made a much-needed vacation stop before returning to the States.

The "El Cantante" co-star couple were spotted clad in their swimwear earlier today (July 4), enjoying the scenic landscape of Portofino, Italy alongside designer Stefano Gabbana.

And now that Marc has finished up his work overseas, the "I Need You" singer will be launching a string of US shows beginning on July 26th in Universal City, CA.

The Juntos en Concierto series will see $2 donated to the ING Run for Something Better program for every ticket sold - helping the national initiative "fund school-based running and fitness-education programs."

"Through my music, I want to make a difference in the lives of young people across the country," Anthony told in a statement. "One way is by addressing the critical need to help reduce childhood obesity among Latino children."
