Celebrity News: Daniel Craig Signs Record Breaking Bond Deal

Daniel Craig has signed up to play James Bond in the next four films.

The actor - who first starred as 007 in 'Casino Royale' in 2011 - is already filming his second British spy movie, tentatively titled Bond 22, and has now signed a contract with MGM for another three films.

MGM's chief executive Harry Sloan said: "We have signed Daniel Craig to do four more James Bond films, because these franchises are the bases of any studio."

The 39-year-old star's contract - expected to net him over US $60 million - will incorporate a sliding salary range, dependant on how much each film makes at the box office and in merchandising.

Meanwhile, Daniel has been named number 10 in Arena magazine's list of Britain's Most Powerful Men aged 40 or under.

He was the only actor to make it into the top 10, and finished ahead of Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton and Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen.

Former England soccer captain David Beckham topped the list.

Celebrity News: Broody Daniel Craig

Daniel Craig wants to have more children.

The James Bond star - who already has a 15-year-old daughter, Ella, from his failed marriage to actress Fiona Loudon - would like to have a baby with his movie producer girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell when the pair's hectic work schedules calm down.

He said: "I'd like to have more children. I'm not planning to at this specific moment in time, but I'd like to.

"Life's up and down so it would not be possible right now, but if I get some down time, which will happen, then it's possible."

Craig, 39, and Mitchell have been dating since the beginning of last year, and he has previously described her as his "perfect Bond girl".

The actor has previously been romantically linked to his 'Layer Cake' co-star Sienna Miller, who dated his friend Jude Law.

Craig's second outing as James Bond, currently titled 'Bond 22', is due to begin filming in December.

He recently signed a contract with MGM to make another three films after shooting on the 'Casino Royale' sequel wraps.

The deal - which is expected to net Craig over £30 million - will incorporate a sliding salary range, dependant on how much each film makes at the box office and in merchandising.

Craig: Sexy Olga is amazing

Daniel Craig is delighted with his gorgeous new Bond girls.

And the Cheshire-born star admitted that, despite praise for Casino Royale, playing James Bond still makes him nervous.

He revealed: “I’m no less nervous than I was.

“I don’t know if I’ll ever feel comfortable with it. You can’t say there’s less pressure when you make a $200 million Ddollar movie. The pressure is plain to see.

“We’ve got to make it as good as if not better than the last one and that’s all that matters.”

But Daniel refused to be drawn on the name of the new movie, currently dubbed Bond 22.

When asked if it would be the rumoured title The Lady Expects Too Much, he laughed and joked: “That’s quite good. I’ll write that one down!”

Daniel Craig's photo fury

Daniel Craig hates camera phones - because he can never go to the toilet in peace.

The James Bond star is happy to meet fans and sign autographs but draws the line at being photographed when he is trying to relieve himself.

Daniel said: "People try to take pictures of me when I'm having a p**s and it's not welcome and never will be.

"I have to keep hold of my sense of humour, because you can lose it very quickly and start retreating into yourself - then you can't go anywhere unless you're with armed guards."

Daniel has a history of griping about his fans.

The 'Quantum of Solace' star recently revealed he wears a false beard to the pub to stop people recognising him.

He said: "I wish, sometimes, I could just go sit and spend the afternoon in the pub. Well, you know, if I'm quiet and I wear a hat, a pair of sunglasses and a false beard, I could probably get away with it."
