Lepaparazzi News Update: Jessica Alba's Relationship with Cash Warren

Jessica Alba split with Cash Warren because he was terrified of commitment, according to the pair's pals. The actress reportedly ended her two-year relationship with the production assistant last week, after months denying the romance was on the rocks.

Now friends reveal the break-up was relatively amicable, but prompted by differences in the couple's long-term aspirations.

One tells the New York Daily News, "He (Cash) wasn't ready for marriage, and Jessica is. It's simple as that. It's kind of cold that the press is saying she was just finished with him, because it isn't like that."

And pals cite close friend Eva Longoria's recent French nuptials as the event that finally pushed her: "Seeing Eva get married made Jessica wistful. That was the reason Jessica seemed to be in a terrible mood in Paris."

Jessica Alba's friends and family were stunned to discover she had got married.

The 27-year-old actress tied the knot with Cash Warren, 31, in a secret ceremony on Monday (19.05.08) with no guests present, and the couple managed to keep their nuptials hidden from everyone.

A source close to Jessica, who described her as "very responsible" said: "Jessica and Cash's ceremony surprised even good friends. She used to feel it would be OK to wait until after the baby was born to get married but her traditional side must have really kicked in."

"Cash is a wonderful guy and she really does love him."

Jessica's "emotional" father Mark confirmed the ceremony, saying: "It was well-hidden from the paparazzi - and a lot more."

Mark also spoke of his happiness for the 'Sin City' star, adding to Latina.com: "I think it is good news for her. I'm glad for her. She's a beautiful girl. I'm her dad and I'm happy for her no matter what happens."

Jessica and Cash are expecting their first child this summer.

Jessica Alba's baby girl's name is Honor Marie

A daughter was born at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

Her name is Honor Marie Warren. 

Strangely, no $10-million offers for the Alba/Warren baby pix, unlike Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's reported 12-million-to-20-million offers from OK! and People. 

On offers, Jessica told the New York Daily News, "I haven't really gotten any - not that I'm aware of. You have to understand, everything that is written is kind of bull..." 

Who cares? A healthy baby girl is priceless.

Jessica Alba: Pregnant to Perky in 1 Month

It was a relaxing and enjoyable Independence Day for Jessica Alba and her hubby Cash Warren, as they strolled through Beverly Hills - stopping at Bloomingdale’s along the way.

The “Good Luck Chuck” actress looked positively perfect in a pink-to-red strappy summer dress teamed with a pair of white sandals and some oversized shades, while her beau kept it casual in a white t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops.

Just a month after giving birth to daughter Honor Marie Warren, Jessica is looking fit and trim. Then again, she was voted the sexiest woman in the world by FHM magazine last year, so she definitely knows how to work it.

As for mothering, Alba says she’ll work to balance strictness and love. “I don’t want to be my child’s best friend; I want to be a mom. But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it’s going to be about treading that line.”
