Lepaparazzi News Update: The Access Entertainment Week In Review

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 1, 2011) -- It was big week for entertainment news, as an incarcerated heiress was set free, a pop princess made a mysterious delivery, and a TV star raised eyebrows in a foreign country.

After 23 days of being locked up, Paris Hilton walked out the front doors of the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California at 12:15 AM Tuesday morning. The smiling heiress walked past hoards of media who had gathered for hours awaiting her release from the facility. Waving at fans and shaking hands, the celebutante quickly made her way to her waiting parents, who drove her to her grandfather's home in Los Angeles' ritzy Holmby Hills area.

Upon Hilton's release, sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said, "She fulfilled her debt. She was obviously in good spirits. She thanked people as she left."

As expected, a flurry of activity erupted outside the home of Paris' grandfather, as dozens of media crews and a host of reporters packed in tightly on the street to get a view of the Hilton home comings and goings.

Inside, Paris welcomed hair and makeup experts as she prepared herself for the following day's interview on "Larry King Live."

"I just want to let people know what I went through," she told King in Wednesday's interview. "I've been through a lot and it was a pretty traumatic experience, something I really... I've grown from."

Paris revealed much about her time behind bars in the interview with King, describing her emotional state while incarcerated, the conditions of her cell, and her feelings about being free again, among other things. And of course, the question on everyone's mind did time behind bars actually change her?

"Yeah, definitely. I have a new outlook on life," she claimed. "After being there awhile, I had to accept I could either make the best of it or make the worst of it, so I just went with the motto, 'Don't serve the time, let the time serve you.'"

In her talk with King, Paris stressed that she was a "businesswoman." To further understand Paris' assertion, Access investigated the history of Paris' business ventures in music, television, films, books, public appearances, and more - as well as revealing a brand new offer she has been given by a radio station in Minnesota!

Paris capped off her intense week by donning a dark wig and straw hat as she made her way to the sunny state of Hawaii.

While Paris was undoubtedly the focus of attention this week, other stars made news with stories of their own.

Britney Spears was reportedly planning on taking the stage this weekend in LA, as a special guest on Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" tour. A few days after that claim was reported, however, new reports surfaced that Britney had bowed out of the appearance due to having to sing rather than lip sync. Rumors were finally put to rest when a "True Colors" tour producer told PEOPLE that the show had reached out to Britney to perform at an earlier date in Las Vegas, but had never heard back from her, and that "they wouldn't be able to accommodate another artist in the LA schedule anyway."

But that's not the only Britney-centric paperwork story reported this week. A source close to Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, told PEOPLE that Federline has resisted signing the former couple's final divorce papers, allegedly out of concern over Spears' recent behavior.

"Britney's attorneys are anxious to see Kevin sign off on a divorce," the source reportedly said. "But Kevin and his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, are dragging their heels out of concern over reports of Britney's post-rehab partying."

The source reportedly added that Federline's camp "wants to make sure that the divorce document makes it simple enough for Kevin to downsize Britney's access to her kids the next time her behavior troubles him."

Under the agreement the couple reached in March, once papers are signed, Britney and Kevin would have joint legal and physical custody of their two sons - Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 9 months.

A rep for Stamos released the following statement to Access Hollywood:

"John has been traveling extensively for the past few weeks in Greece, Egypt and Tokyo and had a difficult time adjusting to the time difference in Australia, which in turn led to many sleepless nights since his arrival. He acknowledges that his behavior was completely out of character during these interviews and apologizes."

Speculation surrounding Rosie O'Donnell's possible future as the new host of "The Price is Right" was finally put to rest this week -- by Rosie herself. O'Donnell posted a video blog on her Web site on Monday, saying that it was the show's Los Angeles location that was preventing her from taking the job. The game show's producers reportedly offered her the hosting position, but she didn't want to move her family from their home in New York.

"To get my entire family uprooted from their lives and move them cross country so I can have a fantasy childhood indulgence job, it just doesn't seem fair," she said. "They all are in school, they have friends. We love their school, we love our community, we love our house, our life, our home."

In other TV news: CNN's Nancy Grace revealed that she's pregnant with twins (and married!), Joey Fatone got a job as host of a new NBC game show, and an actor on "Rescue Me" lashed out at Denis Leary over his character being killed off on the show.

The BET Awards show was chock full of memorable music moments this week, including a brief reunion for Destiny's Child and a duet between two "Dreamgirls" divas.

In other music news: Bon Jovi took their new album to the top of the Billboard chart, Paul McCartney rocked fans with a surprise gig in LA, Usher announced that he was expecting his first child, and '90's girl-group The Spice Girls announced that they would reunite for a world tour later this year!

Lepaparazzi News Update: Britney Spears Divorced

The official papers were filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday (30.07.07) and signed in the afternoon by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon.

Britney's lawyer Laura Wasser said after the hearing: "They are divorced. Everything is finalised.

"I think she's OK with the terms. She would like to be with the kids more. She said that. She thinks Kevin would like that too.

"I think both of them would prefer to have more custody, and that can be worked out down the line."

When questioned about the alimony payment agreement, Wasser said it will not be made public unless there is an enforcement issue.

Gordon ruled yesterday that Britney, 25, and Kevin, 28, will continue to share equal custody of their sons, 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James, pending a custody hearing on August 14.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Spears Hires Top Manager

Britney Spears has reportedly hired her namesake Brittany Murphy's ex-fiance - as her new manager. The Firm boss Jeff Kwatinetz has taken charge of the troubled pop star's career after pop rival Kelly Clarkson dumped the industry bigwig in June.

Clarkson axed Kwatinetz after her falling out with music mogul Clive Davis went public. The Breakaway singer is now represented by pal Reba McEntire's manager/husband Narvel Blackstock.

Meanwhile, Spears rehired cousin Alli Sims as her assistant last week. Sims quit to concentrate on a solo pop career and insiders claim she's helping her relative out until she finds a full-time replacement for sacked sidekick Shannon Funk.

Lepaparazzi News Update: MTV Awards bounce back after Britney

LAS VEGAS - Somewhere, Kevin Federline is laughing. An out-of-shape, out-of-touch Britney Spears delivered what was destined to be the most talked about performance of the MTV Video Music Awards but for all the wrong reasons.

Kicking off the show Sunday night with her new single, "Gimme More," Spears looked bleary and unprepared, much like her recent tabloid exploits on the streets of Los Angeles. She walked through her dance moves with little enthusiasm. She appeared to have forgotten the art of lip-synching. And, perhaps most unforgivable given her once-taut frame, she looked embarrassingly out of shape.

Even the celebrity-studded audience seemed bewildered. 50 Cent looked at Spears with a confused look on his face; Diddy, her new best friend, was expressionless.

Some comeback. Breathlessly hyped by MTV as the evening's most anticipated performance, it became the most shockingly bad of the night. Jive Records might want to push back that Nov. 13 album release date.

The VMAs had better luck with their own reinvention on Sunday. After suffering poor reviews and a decline in ratings over the last few years, MTV moved the show to Las Vegas' Palms Casino, shortened the show from three hours to two, and changed the show's setup to focus more on performances than awards. Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy and the Foo Fighters each hosted separate suite parties, where much of the show's performances were held.

Thankfully, after Spears' dismal start and an awkward, off-color intro by comedian Sarah Silverman, the show rebounded with several exciting performances. (There was even more drama in the audience: an off-camera fight broke out between Pamela Anderson exes Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, leading Diddy to remark: "It's not just the hip-hop artists that sometimes have a problem.")

Timberlake's suite was packed with revelers, alcohol and eight lingerie-clad stripper types on raised platforms. Before he accepted the Quadruple Threat of the Year award at his suite, the DJ summoned the partygoers to watch the monitor and go crazy if Timberlake won.

He did, they did, and Timberlake said: "I want to challenge MTV to play more videos!" Then he was whisked away by bodyguards and disappeared.

Timberlake was the night's big winner, with four trophies. After accepting the award for Male Artist of the Year, he jabbed at MTV again: "We don't want to see the Simpsons on reality television" apparently he's not a fan of either Jessica or Ashlee's MTV shows.

Meanwhile, Rihanna won the coveted Video of the Year for her metallically inspired "Umbrella," and Monster Single of the Year for her ubiquitous hit "Umbrella," and Beyonce and Shakira won Most Earthshattering Collaboration for "Beautiful Liar." Beyonce's shimmering gold dress barely contained her top; immediately after she picked up her trophy, she asked an assistant backstage to help fix her dress, apparently to prevent a wardrobe malfunction.

Other performers were appearing on the show's main stage, in front of an industry-only audience seated at tables, like at the Golden Globes. Chris Brown gave one of the evening's most extravagant performances a dance-centric, eye-popping spectacle that channeled Michael Jackson, right down to a brief "Billie Jean" imitation.

Alicia Keys had the evening's most rousing performance, debuting her new song "No One" and then an inspired, choir-backed cover of George Michael's "Freedom."

While performances like Keys and Spears were delivered on the main stage, others were delivered in snippets: Akon crooned a bit of his "Smack That" before an award was announced, while the cameras zoomed in on performances from Fall Out Boy and the Foo Fighters mid-performance in their suites, giving viewers the sense that they had happened upon an intimate concert. Cee-Lo delivered a rocking version of Prince's naughty classic "Darling Nikki" in the smoky Foo Fighters suite (where a beer bong was in operation as Dave Grohl danced, sang Cure songs, played air drums and posed for snapshots); Soulja Boy was showing Kanye West his "Crank That" dance in West's suite.

Though the suites appeared to be chaotic parties, the MTV-cast revelers were carefully organized and strategically placed for the cameras. In another suite, the MC encouraged everyone to drink and keep the energy up.

Choreographed or not, Timberlake and Timbaland's joint suite looked like the most exciting T.I., buffeted by pole dancers, delivered a rousing version of "Big Things Poppin'" while 50 Cent stopped by to perform "Ayo Technology" with Timberlake and Timbaland.

Not to be outdone, T-Pain and West danced high atop Las Vegas in one of the Palms' balcony suites as they celebrated "The Good Life." And Lil Wayne, doing double duty in the Fall Out Boy suite after opening the pre-show with Nicole Scherzinger, was particularly animated.

But the TV audience never got full views of those shows, though MTV promised viewers more via its Web site and other "remixed" versions of the show. That might have been the purpose: to whet appetites for repeat viewings by promising glimpses of what they missed during the traditional broadcast. And unlike in recent years, there was plenty reason to come back for more.

Celebrity News: Britney Spears To Give TV Interview With K-Fed?

Britney Spears is considering appearing alongside her ex-husband Kevin Federline in an explosive TV interview with notorious celebrity interviewer Martin Bashir.

Britney is keen to do an interview giving her side of the story over her recent failed custody battle with K-Fed, although she is said to be reluctant to agree to Federline's plans to talk in tandem to ABC's Bashir - famous for his interviews with Princess Diana and Michael Jackson.

A source tells The People, "As far as Martin is concerned it would be all of his Christmases come at once if he could secure a deal with both of them.

"He is really keen to do an interview that would blow the lid off their private lives. It would guarantee millions of viewers worldwide. In an ideal world, he would love to get them both in the same room.

"Kevin is up for that but Britney is less keen. Either way, it would be explosive viewing to get them both to open up their hearts to him."

Celebrity News: Britney Spears and her Love for Underwear

Britney Spears doesn't go out in underwear because she "just doesn't like" the feel of it on her skin.

The 'Toxic' singer - who has been frequently pictured in public without panties on - knows it is "stupid" to go out without underwear but just doesn't feel comfortable in it.

Jewellery designer Tuesday Knight, who has been friends with Britney since 2003, said: "Not wearing panties is ridiculous - and I've told her!

"I've said, 'You can't walk into a store wearing just a shirt with your underwear off, or get out of cars baring all.' I've told her that no one will take her seriously when she does this.

"Britney knows it's stupid, but says she just doesn't like to wear underwear. She doesn't feel comfortable with it on."

The 25-year-old mother-of-two, who has lost custody of sons Sean Preston, two and one-year-old Jayden James to ex-husband Kevin Federline, can't understand why people think she is a bad role model.

Tuesday added to In Touch Weekly magazine: "Britney has always been a good mother. I want people to know that she's the better parent - not

"Britney asked me, 'Doesn't anybody get to see this part of me?' The answer is, no, they don't. People just read about her not wearing underwear.

"I knew Britney when she and Kevin first met. She remade her entire life so it was all about him. She didn't even want to sign a prenup. Since then, I've watched her spiral downward."

Celebrity News: Britney Spears' comeback success

Britney Spears' new album is set to be a huge success, despite the controversy surrounding her personal life.

The singer's LP, 'Blackout', goes on sale worldwide tomorrow (30.10.07) and although Britney's public image has taken a battering with accusations of drug use, bad parenting and excessive drinking, the album is being predicted to match the success of her past multi-million-selling records.

Geoff Mayfield, Billboard's director of charts, said: "You almost have to throw out the rule book when you evaluate her. You might think the attention she has got does not bode well, but the first single has been very well received."

Britney's comeback single 'Gimme More' is currently riding high at number six in the UK singles chart, and peaked at number 17 in the US Billboard chart.

'Blackout' is the singer's first studio album since 2003. Her previous four releases have all been number one hits and have sold more than 75 million copies worldwide.

The 12-track LP is predominantly produced by Timbaland protégé Nate "Danja" Hills and the Swedish duo Bloodshy and Avant, who also produced her Grammy-winning hit single 'Toxic'.

Barry Weiss, the President of Jive Records' parent company Zomba Label Group, emphasised the label is doing its best to keep the focus on Britney's music, not her

He said: "The sound is a maturation from her prior albums. "With so much noise out there about her, we are trying to keep the focus on the music as much as possible."

Britney - who recently lost custody of her two sons, Sean Preston, two, and 13-month old Jayden James to ex-husband Kevin Federline - will promote the album, but bosses are wary about how many live appearances she will be able to do.

Weiss said: "She will do her part to promote the record but we will be very selective about what she's asked to do."

Celebrity News: Britney Spears' Kevin legal bill

Britney Spears has been ordered to pay Kevin Federline's legal fees in their custody battle.

Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon ordered the 'Gimme More' singer to pay $120,000 towards the $154,500 her ex-husband owes to his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan.

Commissioner Gordon made the ruling after considering several factors including "the notable disparity between the parties' income."

Last week, court documents revealed Britney earns $737,868 a month, while Kevin receives $20,000 a month in spousal support and $15,000 in child support payments from the 25-year-old singer.

Britney spends $102,000 a month on entertainment - going out, gifts and vacations - $16,000 on her wardrobe, almost $50,000 on her mortgage, $10,000 on utility bills and just $6,000 on child care.

On October 10, Kevin's lawyer Kaplan requested $160,000 for fees.

California law states that either party has access to legal representation to preserve their rights, even if that means one person must pay the other's lawyer.

Kaplan said: "We've already incurred more fees above the $164,000 in the document, and we expect we will be incurring significant other fees going into the trial.

"I intend to make further fee orders up to the date of the trial."

Britney and Kevin are fighting for custody of sons Sean Preston, two and 16-month-old Jayden James. Kevin currently has full temporary custody, while Britney has three visits with the boys a week, including one overnight visit, on condition she takes regular drug tests and parenting lessons.

Celebrity News: Britney Spears Rough Look

Britney Spears shocked onlookers when she stepped out for some late night shopping looking visibly pale and bloated.

Sporting a hot pink bra with a sheer white shirt to match, the Toxic singer indulged in some late night chandelier shopping, before heading over to Mirabelle in Hollywood for dinner with her producer friend Sam Lufi.

The 25-year-old was yesterday ordered to pay Kevin Federline's legal fees in the pairs ongoing custody battle.

Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon ordered the singer to pay US $120,000 towards the US $154,500 her ex-husband owes to his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan.

Celebrity News: Britney Spears and Cosmetic Surgery

Britney Spears has become the center of plastic surgery controversy, with reports suggesting that the pop-tart is planning to spend $160,000 on cosmetic surgery.

The 'Gimme More' singer believes having a tummy tuck, nose job, chemical peel and boob job will help boost her career.

A source said: "Britney rips pages out of magazines with pictures of the perfect body parts she wants. When she sees so many pictures of her in magazines it is impossible for her not to scrutinise every detail of her body.

"She is so insecure over how much her body has changed since becoming a mother. She has said she will do whatever it takes to get back to her best even if that means getting a helping hand through surgery."

Britney's top-to-toe makeover is said to include $16,000 on liposuction for her thighs and chin, $24,000 on breast enhancement, $16,000 on a nose job, a $30,000 tummy tuck and $10,000 on chemical peels. Consultations with surgeons, dieticians and fitness trainers are expected to top up the total bill to over $80,000.

The star's friends are concerned with Britney's growing obsession over her appearance and medical experts have warned cosmetic surgery doesn't always improve self-confidence.

Clinical psychologist Linda Blair told Britain's Closer magazine:

"People often think surgery will solve all their problems but it really won't. Most clinics will not go ahead with a procedure if things are not right with the patient mentally. Patients can experience terrible disappointment if they have surgery and then find nothing has improved in their life."

Meanwhile Spears has also graced this months cover of OK! magazine, who claim the mother-of-two underwent cosmetic enhacements during a recent trip to Las Vegas.

The publication suggests that the Toxic singer - who reportedly got PCDC treatments in Las Vegas this April - was spotted paying a visit to the LipoDissolve Center recently.

Britney Spears Sex Shop Tantrum Exposed

Britney Spears caused an upset at a Hollywood lingerie and sex toy store after allegedly throwing a tantrum and striping off in front of shocked staff.

Employees at Hustler on Sunset Boulevard claim Spears arrived there shortly before 1am on 18 November (07), and insisted on trying on a number of saucy garments.

When staff told the singer that they didn't allow people to try on underwear, Spears got angry and reportedly threw a tantrum.

One source tells American magazine Us Weekly, "She was really upset... She looked out of it. There was nothing going on behind her eyes".

According to staff, Spears then ripped off her own underwear in the middle of the store and tried on a pair of 'Boyshorts' With 'Barely Legal' stitched across the behind as the embarrassed employees looked on.

One eyewitness tells the publication, "It was like dealing with a child".

Upset Spears then paid for her sexy knickers with a credit card and stormed out, swiping a wig off a mannequin on her way.

Meanwhile to add to the simgers woes its been reported her recently-appointed chauffeur has quit - because the pop star is too much of a "liability" to drive around.

The unnamed man was hired to drive Spears, her kids and a court-ordered monitor around after the troubled mother-of-two was banned from driving her sons herself.

But he has reportedly resigned just days after his appointment due to the life-threatening pressures of ferrying the singer around.

According to tmz, the chauffeur has endured a number of near-misses with paparazzi and other vehicles whilst driving the star, and feels unsafe in the job.

Spears was ordered to hire a driver by ex-husband Kevin Federline's attorney earlier this month (Nov07), after her road skills were called into question.

The ban came after Spears was caught on tape running a red light with her two children in the back seat.

Britney Spear's Pill Binge

Britney Spears reportedly took over 100 pills during a massive 36-hour drugs binge last week, before being hospitalised.

The troubled singer is said to have washed down the huge amount of drugs with a 'Purple Monster' cocktail - a mixture of vodka, anti-flu syrup and an energy drink, before being taken to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Thursday night (03.01.08), according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.

Her hospital dash came after she refused to give her sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James, back to ex-husband Kevin Federline after a custodial visit.

A source close to the singer said: "She ended up taking 20 Clenbuterol diet pills, 18 herbal speed tablets, 18 Piriton anti-histamine tablets, 12 Vicodin painkillers, 10 sleeping pills and eight antacid reflux tablets.

"She also drank one bottle of Pepto-Bismol, two bottles of NyQuil and two bottles of OxyContin painkiller, and took a further 10 anti-hangover drugs and six Ritalin tablets which are usually used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)."

Meanwhile, Britney's estranged father Jamie reportedly "broke down in tears" when he visited his 25-year-old daughter in hospital.

A source told People magazine: "Jamie was incredibly upset. He broke down in tears. When he realised the situation, it just literally broke him down.

Britney Spears Dumps Car

Britney Spears abandoned her car on Sunset Boulevard during rush hour last night (07.01.08).

The troubled pop star, who got a flat tyre while she was driving along the busy Los Angeles street, continued to drive for two miles without her lights on and even passed a petrol station before she pulled over and deserted the vehicle.

Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Mike Lopez said: "Britney Spears' car was impounded because it was blocking the roadway."

Britney now faces a $104 towing fee, plus $32 for every day it remains in the towing yard.

If the 'Toxic' star doesn't collect the vehicle within 30 days, it will be put up for auction.

The incident has sparked further fears for the singer's mental health.

The 'Gimme More' singer was taken to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center following a three-hour stand-off with police which began at 8pm on Thursday (03.01.08) after she refused to return her sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James, to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Britney's Cry for Help

TROUBLED BRITNEY SPEARS wrote a suicide note saying: Perhaps it would be better if I was dead, The Sun can reveal.

The heart-rending letter laid bare the 26-year-old singer’s dark feelings of loneliness - and despair at being unable to live up to family and fans’ expectations.

A friend found it just before Britney’s meltdown earlier this month.

Doctors and friends of the tormented star believe she needs urgent help - because she is suffering fits of terror and is mentally ill.

The chart-topping singer has had mental health problems for years, sources close to her family revealed.

Her conditions, which include manic depression and possible multiple personality disorder, seem to be worsening.

And American TV doctor PHIL MCGRAW, who has seen her recently, said she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.

He added: I am very concerned for her.

The medics and family sources spoke out as it was revealed 26-year-old Britney penned a suicide note telling of her loneliness and fear of not living up to the expectations of fans and relatives.

Pals say the Toxic star is like a child, constantly needing care, approval and support from them.

And she is terrified of losing her children SEAN PRESTON, two, and JAYDEN JAMES, one, in her custody battle with her estranged husband KEVIN FEDERLINE.

It is understood the case’s judge believes her erratic behaviour is being caused by psychological problems rather than an addiction to prescription drugs.

And she stands little chance of winning unless she accepts treatment for mental illness.

Another bizarre incident came to light yesterday when it was revealed Britney shocked assistants in a Los Angeles clothes shop by emerging from a changing room NAKED.

Noises----

She spent 45 minutes in the room with her British lover, paparazzo ADNAN GHALIB.

An assistant said they made weird noises like they were having sex. And Britney swore at staff when she left.
Click here to find out more!

One employee said: She was slurring and spitting. Her face was covered with cold sores and acne, and her scalp was patchy.

Britney’s suicide note was found in her bathroom just before her meltdown earlier this month, in which she was rushed to a psychiatric ward after refusing to hand her sons to Federline’s security guards.

It was discovered by a friend who thought it a cry for help.

A source close to the singer said: The letter was very sad. Britney talked about her loneliness, how unfair life is and not being able to trust people.

She wrote about how she will never be what people want her to be. She said, ‘Perhaps it would be better if I was dead’.

The source said the friend, who has been trying to persuade Britney to seek medical help, confronted her with the note. But she laughed it off and said: Everybody thinks about death.

Britney missed a vital court hearing over her kids on Monday. The source said: People think she doesn’t care but she loves them more than anything.

The truth is she’s terrified of losing them and can’t face going to court. She doesn’t want to answer questions about her mental health and lifestyle.

Britney’s manic depression is also known as bipolar disorder. The source said: She also has something much more serious she doesn’t want to talk about.

She may have multiple personality disorder. And she had post-natal depression after both births.

The source added: Sometimes she misses drugs she takes for her problems. Sometimes she takes too many. Combined with her drinking, it makes her difficult to control.

Britney Spears Dumps Photographer

Britney Spears has dumped her photographer lover and filed a restraining order against him.

The troubled star ended her relationship with Adnan Ghalib - who she is believed to have started dating last December - after discovering he was cashing in on his romance with her by tipping off his agency FinalPixx with photo opportunities.

Britney got her revenge on Adnan by inviting two photographers from a rival agency into her Los Angeles home at 2am on Sunday (20.01.08), saying: "Come with me, let's have fun."

As the group arrived at the property the singer's manager Sam Lufti brandished a paper he claimed was a restraining order banning Adnan, 35, from making money from photographs of the star.

Britney spent four hours with the two paparazzi drinking champagne and dancing to music including singer Amy Winehouse's album 'Back to Black' and one of her own LPs.

One photographer named Roberto said: "We had fun. Britney was funny, very relaxed, dancing a little bit and she carried her little dog all the time. Sam was telling us to not worry about Adnan because they have filed a restraining order against him."

Adnan - who was pictured buying pregnancy tests with Britney last week - insist is unaware of any restraining order because he has been at a family funeral.

Britney Spears sectioned

Image: justjared.com

The 'Toxic' singer, who was removed from her home and taken to Los Angeles' UCLA Medical Center by ambulance at 4am this morning (31.01.08), has been placed on a 5150 hold - a piece of US legislation which means she poses a danger to herself and others.

It is claimed the intervention was planned for days and was finally executed when Britney's condition deteriorated after she went without sleep since Saturday (26.01.08).

One source told gossip website TMZ.com: "When she was taken away she was non-responsive about the whole thing - out of it. She wasn't resistant, she was saying, 'Is something wrong?'

"She made hot chocolate and waited for paramedics to place her on a gurney."

The 26-year-old star was reportedly committed after her psychiatrist contacted the North Hollywood division of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and warned them "something must be done".

The psychiatrist, who visited Britney last night (30.01.08), was said to be concerned by the star's erratic driving in her new Mercedes and "downhill behaviour" and recommended hospitalisation.
